Jesse Anderson - Assistant Coach & Pitching Coach
Coach Jesse Anderson has coached and played baseball at almost every age level. He joins the UHS Trojans after previously being the head coach and manager of the South County Trojans from 2017 - 2022. In 2022, they were ranked #9 in the county USSSA and have won multiple world series championships in California and Arizona. He was also the Varsity pitching coach from 2000 - 2003 at Ukiah High School, his alma mater, bringing a total of 8 years of coaching experience.
Coach Anderson's own baseball experience includes playing for Ukiah High School from 1991-1994 where he was the Varsity starting pitcher; the College of Marin where he was also the Varsity starting pitcher for two years under the tutelage of National Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame member Al Endriss; starting pitcher for Sonoma State University from 1997 - 1998; and was an amateur/professional player for the Wood Bat League as middle relief pitcher, and the Arizona Diamondbacks for Spring training in 1999.
Coach Anderson's wife is Mandie and he has two sons, Parker (13) and Easton (7). His favorite movie is Bull Durham. He enjoys golf, music, exercise, and traveling. His favorite quote is from Muhammad Ali, "Don’t count the days, make the days count!!!"

Played/Graduated from Trabuco Hills HS 2008-2011 earning 2nd team all league varsity in 2010 and 1st teal all league in 2011.

Played two years at Sacramento State University(2012-2013) and two years at Concordia University (2015-2016)helping the CUI Eagles win their conference tournament and make a NAIA World Series appearance in 2015

Staff Sergeant Lee Maxwell - Assistant Coach
Coach Lee Maxwell resides in Aliso Viejo, California with his wife Taylor. Coach Maxwell joined the Marine Corps in 2016, and plans on continuing his career through retirement. He grew up in Colorado playing football, baseball, and wrestling, and through those sports developed a passion for fitness. Coach Maxwell decided to continue his education by earning his personal training certification through ISSA. Coach Maxwell also is a certified high intensity tactical training instructor, and martial arts instructor with the Marine Corps. While gaining these certification he spent his time in Asia and Southern California, and is now a United States Marine Corp recruiter in Lake Forest, California. Coach Maxwell has spent the last eight years training Marines in functional fitness and martial arts, and he is excited to continue to train the University High School baseball team, to succeed on the field and in life.
